Christmas Dinners 2020

We don’t usually hear our wonderful Christmas Dinners teams talking about or planning their dinners until September each year. And we don’t usually get in touch to offer any support until then either. But 2020 has been a bit different. Everyone has experienced many challenges in these unprecedented times.

So we’ve thought that it might be useful to bring together the experience and enthusiasm of the dinners teams to start a conversation about the dinners this year; what are your thoughts, suggestions, hopes, challenges and concerns? By talking to each other we’re hoping that it will help us all.

Initially we’re looking to set up a WhatsApp Group to start the conversation and then arrange a Zoom call.

If you’re interested and haven’t yet been in touch please email us or send a DM to @GoldFSF on Twitter.

  1. Hi there,

I am writing on behalf of Housing Plus, Quality Assured Refugee Accommodation. We have worked with you before and the young people in our care have always been beyond appreciative of the amazing work you provide!

My colleagues and I were wondering if you had anything planned this Christmas?

    Best wishes,

  2. Hi
I am getting in touch because I belong to London Quilters and we are currently making blocks and quilts which will become quilts for Q4CL for Christmas 2020. Maggie Lloyd-Jones will be speaking to us on a Zoom meeting about Q4CL later this month. I am getting in touch to find out where the nearest dinner to us will be this year. I see that there have been dinners in Hackney and Islington but can’t see a contact for Islington which is probably closest to us.
I look forward to hearing from you. You can see our progress on the link.
    Kind regards Anita
